Hi Michael, We have a number of Growing Domes as far north as Alaska and many throughout Canada. All reports are that they do very well in the cold, northern climates. If you go with Premium glazing you can expect your Growing Dome to stay 30 degrees F warmer than the outside temperature. We have a number of suggestions on how to heat/install the Growing Dome so that you can grow through the really cold times of year. Also, since the Growing Domes are a geodesic shape they have much less heat loss than a standard box greenhouse so they cost less to heat. If you install it as is, you can expect a significant lengthening of your current growing season. We’d be glad to answer any other questions you have and talk further.
