  1. I’d like to say that you just always provide clear information and looking an avid reader of your site for quite some time. Just wanted to express gratitude really for all the great work you do!

What a shame that the old forum has been taken down and cannibalized into this blog format. There was a bunch of good information in there that I had not digested yet, but now appears to be gone. While your forum was not very busy, it was also not promoted very well and was hard to find on the old website.

I vastly prefer the decentralized, collaborative, group type approach to sharing information, than this top-down approach that you have adopted. Please re-consider having a forum available to us owners, and perhaps you could promote and feature it on the main website so that it might be more busy.

When I was considering buying one of these, I found the forum posts by actual owners to be extremely valuable in helping me make my decision. Nothing sells a product like word-of mouth, and you have just silenced the whole community of dome owners by taking the forum down. I inherently trust the words of actual owners more than the people who are trying to sell me the product.

Oh, and consider having those guys not run their saws during the seed video :-)

Hello and thank you for your post and feed back!

We would love to address some of your concerns regarding our new blog, “The Hub”, as we fondly call it. One of the main reasons we upgraded to this new format was due to the lack of communication we received on the old forum. We are sad to report that in two years, there were hardly any new posts. Our goal is to encourage more interaction with The Hub- not only with current and prospective clients, but people who share a common passion for gardening and living a more self-sustaining lifestyle. It is also a chance for all of us to educate each other and share gardening successes, pitfalls, and overall experiences. So far we have had great comments back and forth on a range of subjects. (Plant and fish life in the water tank, winds, temperature and heating discussions, and more!) It is great that we are all able to help each other. We are discussing different ways to encourage that interaction every day since that is the reason we designed the site. The last reason for the switch was that our old forum also was plagued with spam registrations- up to 20 per day!
We do have some really exciting news that we hope everyone will be ecstatic over….. we have complied over 20 years of our gardening experience with the vast fund of knowledge from our old forum and created an “E-book” that we will be sharing with anyone who is interested. It is in a Q & A format by subject matter and is extremely comprehensive. Please stay tuned for the details on that. If you are interested in this, please let us know and we will make sure you receive the emailed version upon it’s release.
Once again, thank you so much for your feed back and happy gardening!
